Cosmax, a cosmetics original design manufacturer (ODM) of South Korea, said on Tuesday that it unveiled the beauty technology developed jointly with researchers at Seoul National University's Soft Foundry Research Center at CES 2023, the world's largest home appliance and IT trade show.

At CES held in Las Vegas from Jan. 5 to 8, an ultra-thin galvanic mask pack that helps faster absorption by combining a battery thinner than paper with a graphene sheet, and a customized ion patch that increases the delivery power of active ingredients by adjusting the voltage with a smartphone were on display.

In addition, it introduced a hydrogel healing patch that accelerates wound healing through voltage generated by daily movements without a battery.

In 2019, Cosmax established the SNU-Cosmax Technology Incubation Center jointly with Seoul National University's Soft Foundry Research Center to develop next-generation beauty technologies.

"We will advance customized research through various industry-university cooperation," said Lee Byeong-man, CEO of Cosmax.
