JVM to sell fully automated drug inspection machines in US

JVM's Vizen EX Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co. said on Monday that it had signed an agreement with Euclid Medical Products, a company specializing in manufacturing drug dispensing automation machines in the US, on Jan. 2 to sell a fully automated drug inspection machine from its subsidiary JVM.
According to the company, Euclid is a company located in Ohio and has a drug dispensing automation equipment product line used in pharmacies, hospitals, and nursing facilities.
JVM's Vizen EX is a product that can inspect up to 400 pills per minute by comparing the quantity, size, and shape of pills with the content of the prescription through a built-in special camera.
Hanmi Pharm, which is responsible for JVM's overseas business, said that including this partnership, the number of overseas partner firms has increased to 34, and the number of countries in which it has moved in rose to 59.
"The pharmacist’s most important job, which is as critical as accurate dispensing, is the inspection to prevent mis-administration," said an official of Hanmi Pharmaceutical.
