Korean LPs favor direct lending for private debt investment

More than half of South Korea’s key asset owners, led by the National Pension Service, are inclined to expand overseas private debt investment in pursuit of a steady stream of income, picking direct lending as their top credit investment choice, a recent survey by The Korea Economic Daily shows.
